Quality Packing win the BBB Torch Awards!

First off, I would like to congratulate you personally on winning the Torch Award. Winning this award definitely shows what a great owner & company you are and the great work you accomplish for your consumers.

It was very hard not being able to tell you that you won, but keeping it a surprise from you, was even better. When I saw your reaction, it made my day.

The reason why it 1997 was indicated, was because we need to take the year your company started, not the owner personally. I had 1977 but it was corrected to 1997 by my Operations Manager, because this is the date we have on file for the establish date for Quality Moving & Packing. We can’t use experience in the industry as a start date. I didn’t know it was changed until it was read out loud.

This is the first year that I take care of the Torch Awards, and receiving emails like yours below, makes the hard work I put into the event even better for me. I’m so happy for you. Alex and the staff at Quality Moving & Packing. Loving what you do is one thing, but winning an award for all the hard work you provide, is such an accomplishment. Congratulations Mario. I’ve happy you were able to make it and accept this wonderful award.

I would also like to clarify, that a company can’t win 2 years in a row. Since you won this year, you can apply to win the award again for the 2015 Torch Awards. D.S. Plumbing won in 2011 & 2013. But you can definitely come to the event and cheer on other companies next year.

I will keep you informed on when the Ottawa Citizen will be running the ad for the Torch Awards winners.
